Video editor in Sri Lanka — Colombo & Jaffna, editing for clients worldwide
I'm Alex Shanjay — a video editor in Sri Lanka, working from Colombo and Jaffna. I edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, brand films, ads and event videos for businesses and creators in Sri Lanka, the UK and anywhere online.
I'm a full-time Video Editor at The Coconut Island UK, a London food and restaurant brand, and I run my own studio, AX.Visuals, in Jaffna. Before that I edited promotional and social videos at Chroma Global and for Venom X Technology.
Every edit gets the same care: a strong first three seconds, tight pacing, clean captions, music and sound design, colour grading and motion graphics where they help the story. I work in Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve, and deliver files ready for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and ads.
